  1. 5 PTS allows you to create a conic based on positions 
  2. for five points on the conic.

  4. Indicate the start point of the conic, using a Position 
  5. Menu option.
  6.  
  7. Indicate the second point of the conic, using a Position
  8. Menu option. 
  9.  
  10. Indicate the third point of the conic, using a Position 
  11. Menu option.
  12.  
  13. Indicate a fourth point of the conic, using a Position 
  14. Menu option.
  15.  
  16. Indicate the end point of the conic, using a Position Menu
  17. option.

  19. If a conic cannot be created, an error message is 
  20. displayed. You are prompted to press <Enter> and to 
  21. redefine the conic,beginning with the position of the 
  22. start point.

  24. In 2-D construction mode, the indicated points are 
  25. projected to the current construction plane. The conic 
  26. is created in the current construction view, at the depth
  27. that is active when the endpoint is defined.

  29. In 3-D construction mode, the conic is created in the 
  30. plane that is defined by the first three indicated points.
  31. The fourth and fifth points are projected to this plane.
