- USER DEFINED CHARACTER WIDTH
- CADKEY, INC
- MARCH 1990
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
-
- To see an example of user defined character widths
- a font file called "PROP.FNT" has been included in this version.
- Every lower case character from a - z has been defined to be as wide
- as its geometry plus ten character units on each side.
-
-
- To use this font within CADKEY simply add
- "PROP" as the third menu option to menu number 3943 in the
- "MENUS.TXT" menu file. Then rename "PROP.FNT" to "SFNT3.FNT"
- and put it in the directory where CADKEY was initially loaded.
- Now you can SET or CHANGE your font to PROP and notice how
- the lower case letters from a - z are a different width when
- compared to CADKEY'S original BOX font. To PRINT or PLOT using
- this font file simply copy "SFNT3.FNT" into "PFNT3.FNT" and
- proceed as normal.
