  3. Replaces one object or library entity with another and restores the original
  4. attributes of a placed object.
  5.  
  6.      1.  (CHAR) replace objects by: i-indicating, n-name, s-selection
  7.      2.  (CHAR) new file to place (1-8 char.)(<ENTER> to restore attributes)
  8. if reply is `i':
  9.      3.* (IND) object to replace
  10.      4.* (Y/N) confirm choice
  11. if reply is `n':
  12.      3.* (CHAR) name of objects to replace
  13.  
  14. Description:
  15.  
  16. This command replaces one placed object with another or restores placed
  17. objects' original line attributes (color type width) if they have
  18. been changed since being placed.
  19.  
  20. State the method of replacing. Enter the file name of the object to be placed
  21. or press <ENTER> to restore the attributes of a placed object.
  22.  
  23. If you select to replace by indication, indicate the object to be replaced or
  24. to have its attributes restored. The indicated object will be replaced or
  25. have its attributes restored.
  26.  
  27. If you select to replace by name, state the name of the object to be replaced
  28. or to have its attributes restored. All instances of that name will be
  29. replaced or will have their attributes restored.
  30.  
  31. If you select to replace by selection, all objects included in the
  32. selection group will be replaced or have their attributes restored.
  33.  
  34. If the file specified is empty or if the file name does not exist
  35. in both your directory and the \ARCALIB directory, you will
  36. be notified. You may specify another file name, and all other parameters
  37. will remain unchanged.
  38. You are prompted to replace additional entities until you enter a new
  39. command.

  42. \replc n test1 test2

  44. Result:All placed objects named test1 are replaced by the object named test2.
