  3. Changes from perspective to parallel view mode.
  4. (A nested command in geometric module only.)
  5. (Applicable in both geometric and solid modules.)

  7. Description:
  8. This command activates the parallel view mode. The letter `P' (perspective) in
  9. the status indicator at the top of the screen changes to `L' (parallel) to
  10. indicate the currently active mode.
  11. If you are currently in the geometric module or in any of the display modes
  12. set by the \dsmod command in the solid module, the screen will be redrawn in
  13. the parallel view display mode.
  14. If you are in the solid module and the display mode is currently "off", the
  15. new view will not be displayed until a display mode is specified, enabling you
  16. to execute a series of manipulations before the screen is redrawn.
  17. To activate the perspective view, you may use the \pers command.
  18. NOTE: You may toggle between perspective and parallel modes by pressing Alt+P
  19. or using the command \onofp.
