- Deactivates all layers or a specified layer.
-
- 1. (NUM) layer number to set off (1-255), <ENTER> for all
-
- Description
- This command deactivates a single specified layer of your model, or
- all the layers. The default is "all layers on," and this state
- will remain until you turn off some or all layers.
-
- To set a specific layer off, type the layer number. You may specify
- more than one layer by typing a series of numbers with spaces between
- them. You may continue to specify layers until you select another
- command. To set all layers off, press <ENTER>.
-
- Note that the currently active layer cannot be set to "off" by specifying
- it's layer number but will be set to "off" if you press <ENTER> to set all
- layers off.
-
- The entities in the deactivated layers will be removed from the screen
- only after the next redraw operation (e.g., \refr).
-
- This command is commonly used in combination with the \lyon command. You may
- choose to deactivate all layers first and then activate only the desired
- layers, when there are fewer layers to activate than to deactivate.
-
- Example
- \lyof 1 4
- \refr
-
- Result:Layers 1 and 4 are deactivated and disappear from the display.
