- EYE Menu: VIEW / SOLID
- ==============================================================================
- Defines the eye position for the next view.
- (Applicable in both geometric and solid modules.)
-
- 1. (POINT) eye position
-
- Description:
- This command determines the point from which you view your model.
- Pick the new eye position.
- If you are currently in the geometric module or in any of the display modes
- set by the \dsmod command in the solid module, the screen will be redrawn in
- the appropriate display mode. If you are in the solid module and the display
- mode is currently "off", the new view will not be displayed until a new
- display mode is specified, enabling you to execute a series of manipulations
- before the screen is redrawn.
- In the geometric module, if you define an eye position too close to the target
- (which is located at the center of the model), the system will display
- a projection from the nearest legal eye position on the line linking the eye
- and target positions, and will inform you that the eye position you defined is
- illegal.
-
- When the command \eye is called without any parameters, the current eye
- position is displayed on your input line.
