  3.  Initiates the Drawing Sheet Generator module.
  4.  
  5.       1. (CHAR) DSG unit: m-meter, c-centimeter, l-millimeter <curr.unit>
  6.  if you change the current unit:
  7.       2. (NUM) polygons tolerance <curr. tol.>
  8.       3. (NUM) size of arc segment on paper <curr. size >(curr.tol.-
  9.          upper limit)
  10.       4. (NUM) minimum and maximum number of segments in an arc  (range:

  12.  if grid is active:
  13.       5. (NUM) grid interval (min 0.01 mm, 0-to turn off)
  14.  for all options:
  15.       6. (Y/N) options: y-new dsg file, n-existing dsg file, <ENTER>-last file
  16.  if `y' is entered:
  17.       7. (NUM) set plotting area in millimeters (x y) [min.size: 10mm]

  28.  Description:
  29.  
  30.  This command enables you to enter the Drawing Sheet Generator module
  31.  (DSG) while the system automatically sets the screen status. You may
  32.  change some settings. All original settings will be restored when
  33.  leaving this module.
  34.  
  35.  Specify the units in which you wish to work. You may select meters,
  36.  centimeters, or millimeters (see the \unit command).
  37.  If you change from the current value, the system will ask you to specify
  38.  the new tolerance, dimensions format and arc segment setting to suit
  39.  the unit that you have selected.
  40.  
  41.  If the grid is active, specify a new interval if desired.
  42.  
  43.  You are asked whether you wish to start a new drawing sheet, load
  44.  an existing one or load the last drawing sheet that you worked on.
  45.  
  46.  If you load an existing drawing sheet (see \dload), you
  47.  will be asked to specify the display mode of the drawing sheet (see
  48.  \dmode.). You may display the drawings without displaying
  49.  their frames, the frames without their contents or press <ENTER>
  50.  to display both the frames and their contents. You are then prompted
  51.  to specify the name under which the drawing sheet was saved.

  53.  If you start a new drawing sheet (see \dnew), you will
  54.  be asked to specify the paper size by its x and y dimensions in millimeters
  55.  (or feet). A white broken rectangle of the specified size is drawn
  56.  to fill the screen.

  58.  If you wish to use a standard A-size, you may type \A0, \A1, \A2,
  59.  \A3 or \A4 as appropriate. The system will display the x and y dimensions
  60.  of these standard sizes in the command line. Press <ENTER>
  61.  to accept them.

  63.  NOTE: The current standard A-sizes comply with the "HP Draftpro"
  64.  specifications. They may be updated by editing the following files in the
  65.  \ARCALIB directory on the system disk: A0.CCC,A1.CCC,A2.CCC,A3.CCC,A4.CCC.

  67.  When you enter the Drawing Sheet Generator module the screen background
  68.  changes color and the side bar menu changes to the DSG Menu. The system
  69.  also sets the following screen status parameters:

  71.  - plan view (x y)
  72.  
  73.  - parallel view (non perspective)
  74.  
  75.  - automatic scale mode - mode status indicator changes from F (fixed) to
  76.                           A (automatic)
  77.  
  78.  - reference scale of \tscrn to 1
  79.  
  80.  - text and dimension entities scaled (\tscrn)
  81.  
  82.  - arc centers and placed object origins off (\onofc)
  83.  
  84.  - background color (r=100 g=300 b=200)
  85.  
  86.  - DSG mode  mode status indicator changes from G(Geometric) to D (DSG.)

  88.  It is recommended not to change these parameters while in the DSG module.

  90.  The file name at the top left hand corner of the screen will change
  91.  to D$NEW. This default file is equivalent to the NEW
  92.  file in the geometric module. When you save a new DSG file or an existing
  93.  one that you have edited, you will be asked to specify a permanent
  94.  name. When you load an existing drawing sheet it is copied into the
  95.  D$NEW file. If you regret changes that you made in this
  96.  file, you may reload the original file without saving the changes.

  98.  You may continue to place drawings on the sheet by automatic (see
  99.  \dpaut) or fixed scaling (see \dpscl). If
  100.  you have loaded an existing drawing sheet you may also clip drawings
  101.  by automatic (see \dcaut) or fixed scaling (see \dcscl).
  102.  Press <ENTER> to activate the pull-down menu.

  104.  When you leave the DSG, you are returned to the file that you were
  105.  in when you entered the module and the previous system settings and
  106.  viewing parameters are restored.
