  3. Sets the location and justification of dimension lines.

  6.          1. (CHAR) locate dimension text: a-above line, b-below line
  7.          2. (CHAR) justification priority: l-center/left, r-center/right,
  8.                                                                       c-center

  10. Description
  11. This command allows you to set the location and justification modes
  12. of the dimension texts.
  13.  
  14. You are asked to define the text location mode: either (a)above
  15. the dimension line, or (b)below the dimension line. The default
  16. is (a). You are then asked to define the justification of the dimension
  17. text. The system tries to place the text at the center of the dimension
  18. line, but if insufficient space is available, it will locate the text
  19. to the left (option `l' - the default), or to the right (option `r'),
  20. depending on what you select in this option. It is possible to force
  21. the system to place the text in the center (option `c'); this option
  22. is useful for the fixed text mode.

  24. NOTE: The parameters set in this command will affect only the dimension lines
  25. that are drawn subsequently. Existing dimension lines and dimension lines
  26. that are updated, e.g., using \movef, \bkdim, \jndim, etc, are unaffected.
