- ==============================================================================
- Deletes an entity from the model or a drawing from a drawing sheet.
- (A loop nested command.)
-
- 1.* (IND) entity to be deleted, <ENTER> to exit command
- 2.* (Y/N) confirm choice
-
- Description
- This command deletes an indicated entity. A placed entity will be removed
- from your model, leaving its original file unaffected.
-
- In the Drawing Sheet Generator module a placed drawing will be deleted with
- its enclosing frame.
-
- When an axial wall line is deleted, the entire wall is deleted.
-
- To delete a solid prism, both its bases should be indicated.
-
- When deleting a multi-wall, all the openings in that wall will be deleted
- together with the wall. If the wall forms the "head" or "leg" member in a
- T-junction between two multi-walls, the remaining member will also be
- "healed." If you delete an opening in a multi-layer wall, the wall will be
- automatically "healed." If a wall that forms part of a continuous string of
- walls is deleted, the adjacent walls will not be "healed." If you delete the
- 2D base of a multi-layer wall, the 3D model of that wall will also be deleted.
- If you indicate only the 3D model, the 2D base will remain.
-
- Indicate and confirm the entity or placed drawing to be deleted. The entity
- or drawing will be deleted from your model or drawing sheet. You may indicate
- additional entities or drawings to be deleted until you enter a new command or
- press <ENTER> to return to the previous command.
-
- NOTE 1: An entity cannot be restored after it has been deleted.
- Think twice before confirming the deletion!
- NOTE 2: When indicating a drawing in the Drawing Sheet Generator you may
- indicate either the frame itself or its contents but indicating the frame will
- save time.
