  1. IBM3117.SYS

  3. You use the IBM3117.SYS scanner driver with the IBM 3117. 
  4.  
  5. To manually add the device driver to your CONFIG.SYS, use a text 
  6. editor to type the entry as it appears below. Be sure to 
  7. include a path if the scanner driver is not in your root directory. 
  8. Remember to include additional parameters when necessary. 
  9.  
  10. CONFIG.SYS entries:

  12. For IBM 3117        device=IBM3117.SYS
  13.  
  14. The IBM 3117 uses only port address 228H (228 hexadecimal). 
  15.  
  16. Available options for the IBM 3117 and the parameters you
  17. should add to your CONFIG.SYS:
  18.  
  19. Memory Address DE00     The default for this scanner.
  20. Memory Address D800     Add the parameter /D8 to your CONFIG.SYS.
  21.  
  22. The address of the scanner interface board for the IBM 3117 
  23. can be changed from the factory preset DE00 to D800 by 
  24. changing a jumper on the board and adding the /D8 option to 
  25. your CONFIG.SYS.

  31. Colors          B&W only
