  1. %HELP    On-line documentation. 
  2. %    HELP, by itself, lists all primary help topics.  Each primary topic
  3. %    corresponds to a directory name on MATLABPATH.
  4. %
  5. %    "HELP topic" gives help on the specified topic.  The topic can be
  6. %    a command name or a directory name.  If it is a command name, HELP
  7. %    displays information on that command.  If it is a directory name, 
  8. %    HELP displays the Table-Of-Contents for the specified directory.
  9. %    It is not necessary to give the full pathname of the directory; 
  10. %    the last component, or last several components, are sufficient.

  12. %    For example, "help general" and "help matlab/general" both list
  13. %    the Table-Of-Contents for the directory toolbox/matlab/general.
  14. %
  15. %    LOOKFOR XYZ looks for the string XYZ in the first comment line
  16. %    of the HELP text in all M-files found on MATLABPATH.  For all files
  17. %    in which a match occurs, LOOKFOR displays the matching lines.
  18. %
  19. %    MORE ON causes HELP to pause between screenfuls if the help text
  20. %    runs to several screens.
