Press <Cr> or <L> to activate a submenu with LF & CR options. The default setting is LF Only which means that CLEAR will output a CR at the end of every line. The default setting is based on the assumption that your printer is setup to output an automatic LF after a CR is executed. If your printer is setup differently, you should experiment with the two alternative options, i.e. LF Only and CR & LF. ON-LINE PRINTER CHECK User's Guide Reference: pp. 6-13 - 6-20 This option allows you to specify whether or not CLEAR is tocheck the printer before starting to generate the diagrams when output is set to Printer. Press <Cr> or <O> to activate a submenu with On-Line Printer Check options. If the on-line printer check is ON and returns the "Printer Is Not Ready" error, CLEAR aborts diagram processing before even trying to print. On the systems that are connected to any printer sharing devices or networks, it is possible that CLEAR will not be able to perform the printer check correctly.
