  1. Source code disk for the Get Object Class

  3. You will find three self-extrating archive files:
  4.  
  5.     Getprgs.exe  - All the programs discussed in the text,
  6.                    ready to run. Use the RMK file to build
  7.                    the executables
  8.  
  9.     Getexs.exe   - The answers to the exercises
  10.     
  11.     Getlib.exe   - The library of get routines, and the source code
  12.                    to those routines. Use the RMK file to rebuild
  13.                    the library (requires Microsoft's LIB utility).
  14.  
  15. The library is highly fragmented. There is one function per object
  16. file. These are the same routines you will find used in the programs
  17. in Getprgs.exe, but there they are contained inside the test routines.
  18. Here they are independent.
  19.  
  20. Create a subdirectory for each exe file, and copy each file into
  21. its own directory. Then run the exe file, and it will produce the
  22. required files.
  23.  
  24. If you purchased the entire volume, or more than one paper, ensure you
  25. install each in a separate directory.
