  4. WorkPace for DOS is an OOS/RSI computer related injury prevention 
  5. program for MS-DOS. WorkPace for DOS stays in the computer memory in the 
  6. background after it has been run, while monitoring keyboard activity and 
  7. using timers to intelligently generate reminders, telling you when best 
  8. to take a break to help prevent keyboard overuse injury. For more 
  9. information on the prevention of OOS/RSI refer to the WorkPace manual.

  12. Simple Installation
  13. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  15. 1. Create a directory for WP4DOS, for example
  16.  
  17.    C:\> mkdir c:\WP4DOS
  18.  
  19. 2. Copy the file WP4DSE.EXE file into this directory.
  20.    This is a self extracting archive file.
  21.  
  22. 3. Run WP4DSE.EXE
  23.  
  24.    C:\WP4DOS\> WP4DSE
  25.  
  26.    This will create the necessary files for WorkPace for
  27.    DOS, which are:
  28.  
  29.       WP4DOS.EXE      The WorkPace for DOS program file.
  30.  
  31.       WP4DOS.TXT      WorkPace for DOS documentation text file. Covering
  32.                       installation, use, configuration and all other 
  33.                       aspects of WorkPace for DOS.
  34.  
  35.       WPCONFIG.EXE    The WorkPace for DOS configuration program.
  36.  
  37.       README.TXT      This text file.
  38.  
  39.       ORDER.TXT       Ordering and Reseller information.
  40.  
  41.    All these files, plus the additional files generated by WorkPace for 
  42.    DOS, must be kept in the same directory. Both WP4DOS.EXE and 
  43.    WPCONFIG.EXE may be run from any current directory without being in the 
  44.    system path, and may be run at startup from the AUTOEXEC.BAT file or at 
  45.    any other time.

  47. 4. Run WPCONFIG

  49. 5. Run WP4DOS

  51. You must run WPCONFIG.EXE to initialise WP4DOS before running WP4DOS.EXE 
  52. for the first time after installation.
