  4. This program has been designed to be used as a daily routine
  5. in improving the natural ear for music.
  6. Music students should know how important ear training
  7. is for their development. Also experienced professionals
  8. still need to stay in shape, especially with the rhythm.
  9. Even those not interested in music should realize that a
  10. "tone-deaf" ear will somehow affect their personality as a
  11. whole.
  12. Easy to use, you don't need to waste time "navigating"
  13. around. Quickly access the four sections: Melody, Rhythm ,
  14. Intervals and Harmony, and perform some drills. On the Melody
  15. section you can select from the menu an instrument or the
  16. microphone for voice training.
  17. An excellent toy, turn it any way you like and you'll find more 
  18. and more ways to train your musical abilities. 
  19. It works as a daily "pill", a 10 minutes warm -up
  20. session is quite enough.

  25. at least: 386SX, 2meg RAM, Windows 3.1 or Win95-98, 
  26. VGA video 16 colors, audible PC Speaker.
  27.     (Without a soundcard the following features:
  28.     microphone, chords section and harmonic intervals,
  29.     will be disabled.
  30.     You can still use the program for
  31.     melody, rhythm and melodic intervals.)

  34. 486DX 33mhz, 8meg RAM, SVGA video 256 colors,
  35. Soundcard, Microphone (condenser or dynamic unidirectional).
  36. Also, if possible, a wavetable has much nicer sounds.

  40. WHAT THIS PROGRAM DOES: 
  41.  
  42.     The computer will play random sounds, (melody,
  43. rhythm, intervals or harmony), and you are supposed to 
  44. play back what you hear.
  45. Use the piano on the screen or select from the menu
  46. (Input) either guitar, microphone, notation or name.
  47. Also a MIDI instrument can be used as input
  48. at any time.    
  49.     Then your response will be evaluated as correct
  50. or wrong. If correct - the computer will continue with
  51. a next shot, otherwise will wait until you get it right
  52. or press the NEW button.
  53. Select the dificculty level yourself - from Beginner
  54. up to Excellent - or let the computer measure your
  55. skills. For this you should click on the TEST button.
  56.     This program will help you determine  your musical
  57. abilities and improve them.
