- ------------------------------ The Space Pilot Story ------------------------
-
- Why are you out in space conquering space aliens and what does a worm hole
- haveto do with anything?
-
- Well, the story goes like this...
-
- While exploring uncharted space, you were accidently sucked into a worm hole.
- Your ship was transported to another galaxy where you are considered the ENEMY.
- You will come across many alien races who, out of there own fear, will do
- everything in there power to destroy you and your ship.
-
-
- PLAYING THE GAME:
- Enemy shots damage your shields. Try to shoot the enemies as soon as possible,
- or they will track you down and ram your ship. this will cause more damage
- than their shots. With a little practice, You should be able to out manuever
- enemy ships.
-
- Some enemies will require multiple shots to destroy them. Periodically an
- enemy will drop ENERGY PODS or MEGA-BOMBS when they are killed. Energy pods
- increase your total stored energy. Mega-Bombs can wipe out an entire wave of
- enemy ships. You can store up to 5 MEGA-BOMBS for use in emergency situations.
-
- At the begining of each level you are given full energy. Energy can be used
- several different ways. When you fire repeatedly, your your weapons drain a
- small amount of energy. This can be replenished by not firing for a while.
- The shield will drain energy from your reserves each time you are hit. When
- your energy runs low you cannot take many hits without being destroyed.
-
- SPACE PILOT 3 modes of play:
-
- 1) ROOKIE PILOT mode was designed for new pilots who want to learn the basic
- firing and menuevering techniques of Space Pilot. Although The rookie
- mode will allow you to play all the levels, you will score fewer points
- for each enemy you shoot.
-
- 2) SPACE PILOT mode is the standard default mode to play in. This mode was
- designed for steady non-stop game play. You will score higher in this
- mode than in the Rookie mode.
-
- 3) SPACE ACE mode is for the gamer who can get through all the levels in the
- regular mode or for those who like non-stop, fast paced, heart pounding,
- death defying, alien killing action. This mde will also score the highest
- points per round (if you can get through it).
-
-

- keyboard or mouse support (joystick support is in the registered version
