  2. WORDS ALIVE version 2.0 for DOS

  4.            INSTALLATION AND STARTING INSTRUCTIONS

  7.    The contents of the WORDS ALIVE floppy disk(s) must be copied to a separate
  8. directory on your hard drive.  Please enter the following commands inside the
  9. quotation marks (don't type the quotation marks!):
  10.  
  11. "C:"  (or another drive such as "D:") and press <Enter>
  12. "MD\WA"  (make sure you use "\" and not "/") and press <Enter>
  13. "CD\WA"  and press <Enter>
  14.  
  15.    Please verify that the WORDS ALIVE floppy disk is in drive A: (or B:).
  16. If the floppy is in drive A:, enter this command:
  17.  
  18. "COPY A:*.*"  and press <Enter>
  19.  
  20. But if the floppy is in drive B:, enter the following command:
  21.  
  22. "COPY B:*.*"  and press <Enter>
  23.  
  24. If WORDS ALIVE came on more than one disk, remove the first disk, insert the
  25. next, and repeat the above "COPY A:*.*" or "COPY B:*.*" command for the
  26. other disk(s).
  27.  
  28.    The installation is now complete.  You are ready to start playing.  Please
  29. remember that every time you wish to start WORDS ALIVE, you must first change
  30. to the WA directory.  To do so, you should enter the following commands:

  32. "C:"  (or "D:", if originally installed on D:) and press <Enter>
  33. "CD\WA"  and press <Enter>
  34.  
  35. Now that you have made the WA directory current, you can start WORDS ALIVE by
  36. typing the following command:

  38. "WA"  and press <Enter>
