- INSTALLATION AND STARTING INSTRUCTIONS

- The contents of the WORDS ALIVE floppy disk(s) must be copied to a separate
- directory on your hard drive. Please enter the following commands inside the
- quotation marks (don't type the quotation marks!):

- "C:" (or another drive such as "D:") and press <Enter>
- "MD\WA" (make sure you use "\" and not "/") and press <Enter>
- "CD\WA" and press <Enter>

- Please verify that the WORDS ALIVE floppy disk is in drive A: (or B:).
- If the floppy is in drive A:, enter this command:

- "COPY A:*.*" and press <Enter>
-
- But if the floppy is in drive B:, enter the following command:
-
- "COPY B:*.*" and press <Enter>
-
- If WORDS ALIVE came on more than one disk, remove the first disk, insert the
- next, and repeat the above "COPY A:*.*" or "COPY B:*.*" command for the
- other disk(s).

- The installation is now complete. You are ready to start playing. Please
- remember that every time you wish to start WORDS ALIVE, you must first change
- to the WA directory. To do so, you should enter the following commands:

- "C:" (or "D:", if originally installed on D:) and press <Enter>
- "CD\WA" and press <Enter>

- Now that you have made the WA directory current, you can start WORDS ALIVE by
- typing the following command:

- "WA" and press <Enter>
