  1. The following bugs are fixed in PMView 0.91.1482 (Ref: PMView 0.91.1382 beta)
  2. =============================================================================
  3. -Loading: Progressively loading a RLE-encoded BMP or PIC file doesn't update
  4.  the last image block. This bug only occurs on deep color systems or when 
  5.  loading 24-bit RLE BMPs in edit mode.
  6. -Loading: Progressively loading an 8-bit JPEG (=Grayscale JPEG) file doesn't
  7.  update the image progressively at all. The image isn't shown before the
  8.  whole image is loaded.
  9. -File Open/Save dialogs: Deleting a file in the File Open dialog doesn't
  10.  update the Save dialog and vice versa.
  11. -File Open/Save dialogs: Misc. fixes to the Drive combo
  12. -Saving, Printing & Transformations: Loading a new image while saving, 
  13.  printing or transforming an image causes PMView to crash.

  18. New features in PMView 0.91.1382 (Ref: PMView 0.91.1052 beta)
  19. =============================================================
  20. -TAP Support for LiveWire and other terminal emulators that support
  21.  LiveWire TAP. This will allow progressive display of images as they're 
  22.  downlowded. (In order to use this feature you'll need to get the latest 
  23.  beta release of LiveWire. ZOC will also support the TAP in a future version)

  25. The following bugs are fixed in PMView 0.91.1382 (Ref: PMView 0.91.1052 beta)

  27. -Loading, GIF: PMView crashes if Progressive Loading option is turned off
  28. -PMView: Exiting multiple PMView sessions at the same time may trash PMVIEW.INI
  29. -Loading: Progressively loading a file and CTRL-X to quit PMView during the 
  30.  load causes strange things to happen.
  31. -File Open/Save Dialogs: File Open field don't recognize directories, e.g.
  32.  typing 'c:\os2\' or 'c:\os2' will try to open the FILE 'os2' instead of
  33.  switching directory which would be the appropriate action. A lot of
  34.  problems with this field have been fixed.
  35. -Settings Notebook, Directory page: Empty field for load/save directory
  36.  defaults to root instead of the current directory.
  37. -File Open Container: Pressing <DEL> while the container still is filling
  38.  up will give "Cannot delete file" error messages and may crash with SYS3175.

  42. -PMView: Behaviour of all Combos (Combinated list boxes) changed from OS/2 
  43.  standard  behaviour to behave as requested by PMView users. For example, 
  44.  pressing <J>  in the "List Files of Type" field will now directly change 
  45.  to "JPEG" without  confirmation by <ENTER> (OS/2's default behaviour requires 
  46.  you to press <ENTER> to activate the change).
  47. -File Open Container: Workaround for negative thumbnails. The option for this 
  48.  is on the "Special" page.
  49. -File Recall cascade menu changed to conditional cascade style.
  50. -File Revert command removed since its function is now covered by File Recall

  70. -New TGA save options: RightToLeft, TopToBottom, and InterlaceType
  71. -New TIFF save options: Compression, Photometric, and Strip size
  72.  Compression: None, Packbits, CCITTRLE, CCITTFAX3, CCITTFAX4, and LZW
  73.     CCITTFAX3 options: 2D-Encoding, Fillbits, Uncompressed

  76.  Photometric: White is Min, and Black is Min

  80. The following bugs are fixed in PMView 0.91.1052 (Ref: PMView 0.90 official release)

  82. -File Open Container: File name edit don't work in Detail View.
  83. -PMView: Palette not reset to system colors after quitting PMView under Warp.
  84. -Thumbnailing: 271x1 pixel image crashes PMView.
  85. -Thumbnailing: Black/white and graylevel images with (width <= 80 pixels)
  86.  and (height <= 80 pixels) cause PMView to generate bad thumbnails.
  87. -Saving, PCX: Monochrome files inverted when saved.
  88. -Saving, TIFF: Required tag 'StripOffsets' missing
  89. -Loading, TGA: Some RLE encoded files decode with small defects.
  90. -Loading, TIFF: CCITTFAX3 Uncompressed mode images not supported -> error.
  91. -Loading, TIFF: 3, 5, 6, and 7 bit images don't load correctly
  92. -Slideshow: Image presentation according to the previously selected
  93.  mode (View/Edit). This is not correct, Slideshow should *always* run
  94.  in View mode.
  95. -File Open Dialog: "Open Filename:" entry field does not always work
  96.  correctly (2 bugs fixed).
  97. -File Open Container: Image info does not display width/height/bitcount 
  98.  information for PBMPlus files (PPM,PGM,PBM)
  99. -File Open Container: Image info does not display width/height/bitcount
  100.  information for TIFF files that don't include a 'BitsPerSample' tag.
  101. -File Save Container: Thumbnail options on background menu 
  102.  (Manual/Automatic/Loading Creates, Transparent Fill) don't have
  103.  any effect.
  104. -Undo/Redo: If you do a transformation (eg. rotate), save the file
  105.  with a different name and then select undo, the file will get the
  106.  name that it had before saving. That is, the file name change will 
  107.  also be undone. This is, of course, not correct.
  108. -PMView's Title Bar: Files with LONGNAME attribute attached and a longname
  109.  containg <CR> or <LF> do not display correctly in the title bar. (The
  110.  filename is trunctaed at the first <LF>)
  111. -FOB Drive Combo: Selecting a removable drive does not update its drive label.

  115. -Containers: Technical flaw fixed in thumbnail painting, may fix 
  116.  thumbnail painting bug on certain systems.

  118. -Loading, TIFF: Support for predictor added to bitcounts < 8
  119. -FOB Drive Combo: Pressing the drive letter key changes drive directly - now 
  120.  you no longer have to press <ENTER>.
