  8. I read under the awe-list that many people were waiting
  9. for a player able to load the sound bank(s) into your awe
  10. before starting to play a Midi file.

  13. Features :

  15.     - Play mid(s) and load SBK(s)
  16.     - Searches SBK with the same name as the midi file -> bank 1
  17.     - Multi SBK config for one Midi file
  18.     - Playing list
  19.     - Drag & Drop support
  20.     - Auto Play
  21.     - Total playing time, and current playing position
  22.     - Pause, play, stop etc...
  23.     - Visual feedback ... (to be improved)

  26. How to install:
  27.     - Unzip the file 'awemid04.zip'
  28.     - Copy 'mfcoleui.dll' to windows\system
  29.     - Copy 'ctl3dv2.dll' to windows\system
  30.     
  31. How to play MIDI files and load SBK automatically
  32.     - Launch the program
  33.     - Configure your SBK path (Option-Directory)
  34.     - Open a .MID or drag&drop one from anywhere
  35.     - Click PLAY... and wait
  36.  
  37. How to create a playing list
  38.     - Click File-New
  39.     - Click the add button to add your .mid files
  40.     - Click on SBK if you want to load special SBKs
  41.     - Click on play (tool bar).
  42.     - Stop (toolbar) skips to the next .mid in the list
  43.  
  44. SBK are searched:
  45.     - In .MID directory first
  46.     - In the optionnal SBK subdir next
  47.

  49. Tip:
  50.     - You should associate the .MID with awemid !

  52. I tested it under WIN95
  53. with the latest creative drivers (aweup95.zip)
