Due to the limitations of Java, the appearance of an applet (e.g., the wrapping of text) may differ from the demonstration. For best results, it is recommended that a small font size be used, such as 12 pts.
2. Applet Resizing
The applet width and height, specified in Application Options, refer to the bounds beyond which text will not flow. However, if you would like to extend an image beyond these bounds, it is not necessary to change the width and height, as the applet will automatically resize itself to accomodate images.
3. URL Linking
An important but hidden feature is the ability to link to external web pages from within the GuideBuilder applet. For more information, view the GuideBuilder help file.
4. Application Options
Applet attributes, including applet title, button caption, fonts, and colors are not saved with each individual guide, as they are intended primarily for generating HTML code. For this reason, demonstrations may look different each time a file is opened in the GuideBuilder application.
