  36. The 3D-FTP connect dialog  includes VU-meter style Net Speed Meter, 
  37. that gives Rating 0..100 that estimates how file transfers will succeed. 
  38. It also includes graphical Ping time, Ping average and packet loss displays.

  42. Improved connect dialog includes (in addition to Net Speed Tester) a tree 
  43. display of all sites (including last 1000+ quick connect sites). Each 
  44. site can be expanded to display most used download and upload directories, 
  45. so that you can directly go to proper subdirectory when connected.

  47. PlugIn and API architecture (NEW)

  49. 3D-FTP includes a new API that can be used to fully programmatically 
  50. control 3D-FTP. The API is based on OLE standards and you can use your 
  51. favorite programming language to command 3D-FTP, like Visual Basic, 
  52. VC++, Excel, Word, etc. The API allows you to create PlugIn components, 
  53. like 'Syncronize Directories', 'Show Total Directory Size', 'Custom FTP 
  54. Command Toolbar', 'Unattended Transfer Automation w/ Send Pager Msg if 
  55. Download Errors' etc. Only programmers imagination is the limit.

  63. The 3D-FTP ships with 3 ready-to-use skins. You can switch 
  64. between these skins by selecting 'Select Skin...' command 
  65. from the menu. More FREE skins are available for downloading

  68. You can also create your own skins with Skin Editor. The Skin 
  69. Editor can be downloaded free from http://www.3dftp.com/download.htm
  70. You have selection of over 100 components that can be placed 
  71. on the skin. With skins you can make the 3D-FTP look exactly 
  72. way you want, and you can upload your masterpiece skins for 
  73. other people to download and use (see our web site for more 
  74. information).

  79. To get quickly started, run the program and click 
  80. Demo-button: 3D-FTP will demonstrate what program will 
  81. look like when connecting to the site and downloading 
  82. files. Of course no connection is actually made and no 
  83. files are actually transferred.
