  1. This file does 3 things:
  2.  
  3. -More back kick when firing off the grenade launcher and rocket launcher
  4.  [For some reason, having the same kickback effect as the shotgun didn't
  5.   seem realistic]
  6. -No pixelated explosions [I HATE those dam pixels!]
  7. -Long Distance Grenades! [Travel about 2x farther than normal]

  10. Most important item you must have to use this file:

  12. -Registered Quake
  13.  
  14. The modified weapons.qc file is included so you can see what I've changed
  15. [Nothing too complicated].

  17. To use the file progs.dat, create a directory called 'ldg' as follows:
  18.  
  19. c:\quake\ldg
  20.  
  21. Place the progs.dat file in ldg
  22.  
  23. start quake as follows:  quake -game ldg
  24.
