  1. This is a demo of episode 1, map 1, on Nightmare mode (skill 3).
  2. Completed with 100% kills and 100% secrets in 1 minute 39 seconds.

  4. I wanted to see what was the fastest time I could complete the level in.
  5. This is it.  If all my gunshots connected perfectly, and if I landed right
  6. on the edge when I jumped down the spiral slope (near the end), I probably
  7. could have shaved another 3 or 4 seconds off.  But it was hard enough
  8. getting it down to this time!  After making this demo, I realized I'm not
  9. Robocop, so I figured I'd go do something else.

  11. For those of you who don't know how to view demos:  Put e1m1_139.dem into
  12. the ID1 subdirectory of Quake.  (If it's not in the ID1 subdir, it won't
  13. work.)  When in Quake, bring down the console and enter the command
  14. "playdemo e1m1_139".

  16. So, anybody good enough to beat this time?
