  2. Axe! - Quake demo series by Dalias

  4. Watch me complete every level in Quake with the axe! Well,
  5. almost. Quake does not want to play back demos recorded on
  6. e1m4, so I have not included that one. And I have not yet
  7. made an axe demo on the secret level (even though I have
  8. completed it with just the axe).

  10. Only a few of these are my best attempts with the axe, since
  11. problems getting Quake to record right forced me to redo
  12. them several times. I had completed a few of them on higher
  13. difficulty levels, but I lost those recordings and I decided
  14. not to try making them again. Too much trouble... :)

  16. To watch these demos, move them into the id1 subdirectory of
  17. your Quake directory and type "playdemo" then the name of
  18. the demo you want to watch at the console in Quake. For
  19. example, to watch my demo on level one, type:

  21. playdemo e1m1axe
  22.  
  23. These demos are fun to watch. Find out how to kill ogres
  24. with the axe, how to run past shamblers, and how complete all
  25. the levels in a very short amount of time. I show only some
  26. of the secrets: the ones that help me through the levels. I
  27. skip the rest. Well, I hope you enjoy these! I know I enjoyed
  28. making 'em! :)
