- Searching for a file
- ======================
-
- The files 00INFO/ls-lR.* and 00INFO/INDEX contain the output of an
- recursive 'ls' command of the NeXT part of our archive. The latest
- files we received in the last one or two weeks, are linked to the
- directories "1" and "2". Change to these directories and you can get
- the directory names where the files are stored, with an simple 'ls -l'
- command. With an 'ls -lL', you can get the size and the age of the
- files. The special "0" directory contains links to all the files which
- were submitted since the last CD-ROM set was made.
-
- IMPORTANT NOTE: The files in the directories NeXTAnswers and
- Usenet/news are NOT linked to the directories "0", "1" or "2" because of
- too many updates in these archive sections.
-
- All READMEs available in the archive section are put together each day
- to a file called 00INFO/DESC.tar.gz. Together with this file and the
- Digital Librarian distributed with NeXTStep, you can easily browse
- through the contents of Peanuts. Please look at the file 00INFO/DESC.README
- for further information.
-
- For the CD-ROM set you can either browse the 'Filelist' in the CDROM/Contents/
- drawer are use the supplied READMEs.bshlf in conjunction with Librarian to
- search all the README files. Take a look at CDROM/Contents for further
- files not described here. (The CDROM drawer is only on the first CD of a set).
