  3.      This is a module for Sam Streeper's BACKSPACE program.  It was compiled
  4. on a NeXTStation Color, NS2.2.  This is a 'beta-release' at best, because
  5. of a persistent problem with (I think) the DPS server or the Userpath. 
  6.      Basically, the problem (as it manifests itself on my system) occurs only
  7. in the 'screen-saver' mode.  After drawing the first userpath, the module 
  8. hangs, and for some reason sets the autodim time to zero.  One has to quit 
  9. Backspace (with cmd-q), invoke Preferences and reset the auto dimming time 
  10. to restore normal behavior.  This doesn't always happen however! I have no 
  11. idea what causes it.
  12.      I've been sitting on this bug for three months now, and I just can't 
  13. figure out what the HECK is wrong.  If any kind DPS expert would tell me
  14. what I'm doing wrong, I'd be grateful.

  16. To the best of my knowledge, this code has no other problems.  I think this 
  17. type of 'spirograph' stuff is pretty cool, so if anyone can point me to other
