  2. This submission contains a quad-fat demo version 3.1 of enTar
  3. for Motorola, Intel, HP PA-RISC, and SPARC based computers.

  5. enTar(tm) is an interactive tar archiving program for backing 
  6. up to DAT, 8 mm, and other SCSI tape devices. 
  7.  
  8. enTar will painlessly back up your files and directories onto
  9. mass storage devices. enTar works with DAT, 8 mm, and other 
  10. SCSI tape devices, as well as with floppy, optical, and other
  11. removable disks. In addition, enTar can back up your data to 
  12. networked disks. Because enTar automatically configures tape 
  13. devices, it works with most SCSI tape devices.

  15. enTar can back up multiple files and directories into a single 
  16. file and can browse and selectively restore files within the 
  17. single backup. enTar also features UNIX data compression and 
  18. tar formats for backups so that backup data can be exchanged 
  19. with other UNIX systems, such as Sun or IBM.

  21. enTar includes an extensive on-line help facility. By simply 
  22. clicking any section of the screen with the Help cursor, 
  23. explanation of every menu item and program feature is
  24. available instantly.

  27. authorized NEXTSTEP resellers. Information about quantity 
  28. discounts, site licenses, and reduced prices for educational

  32. to enTar 3.1. (enTar 1.3, 1.4, 3.0, and 3.1 all use the same set 
  33. of license keys.)  In addition, purchasers of enTar 3.1 and

  35. to enTar 4.0 and enTar for OpenStep when these versions become 
  36. available. (Version 4.0 of enTar, with automatic timed backup 
  37. capability, is scheduled to be released in July 1995 with a
