  2. This submission contains a quad-fat demo version 3.3 of 
  3. PhaseScope for Motorola, Intel, HP PA-RISC, and SPARC based 
  4. computers.

  6. PhaseScope(tm) provides a comprehensive user-interface and 
  7. general graphical display for analyzing dynamical systems.  
  8. It serves as a specialized front end to Mathematica's kernel, 
  9. and can be used as a general purpose modeling tool, where one 
  10. can easily check the qualitative behavior of the assumptions 
  11. before proceeding to a detailed analysis.

  13. In addition, PhaseScope can also be used as a learning tool 
  14. supporting several topics in a typical course in differential 
  15. equations.  PhaseScope provides color 2D and 3D graphical 
  16. displays of the dynamical system.

  19. the following new features:

  21. 1. Equations can now be defined in terms of parameters, whose 
  22.    values can be adjusted independently. This feature makes it 
  23.    easy to change critical components of the equations easily.

  25. 2. When displaying a solution in the phase-plane, clicking 
  26.    anywhere in the plane will define an initial position and 
  27.    subsequently display the new solution for those initial 
  28.    conditions. This make it easy to experiment with phase-plane 
  29.    stability.
