  1. nibIT 1.0 Demo Version.

  4. This demo version has full functionality until 1/5/95.

  10. Please refer to the user guide and ordering details contained

  14. INSTALLING NIBIT 
  15.  
  16. To install nibIT copy the nibIT-1.0-demo.tar.gz file and  
  17. place in the directory of your choice:
  18.  
  19. /LocalDeveloper/Palettes/nibIT-demo/
  20.  
  21. would be an good choice. 
  22.  
  23. Start up a terminal session and login with a account 
  24. that has write priviliges to the directory where you 
  25. want to place the nibIT release directory and files.
  26.  
  27. Make a nibIT-demo directory:
  28.  
  29. > mkdir nibIT-1.0-demo
  30.  
  31. and copy the nibIT-1.0-demo.tar.gz file into that directory.
  32.  
  33. To un-compress the release use the command:
  34.  
  35. > gzip -d nibIT-1.0-demo.tar.gz
  36.  
  37. Then un-tar the file using the command:
  38.  
  39. > tar xvf nibIT-1.0.tar-demo.tar
  40.  
  41. This will create  the following files:
  42.  
  43. libnibIT.a         
  44. nibIT.palette         
  45. nibIT-UserGuide1.0.rtfd         
  46. nibIT-Ordering.rtf
  47.  
  48.  
  49. The libnibIT.a is a library file to be included 
  50. with any applications using a nib file which contains a nibIT object.
  51.  
  52. The nibIT.palette is a nib file palette which should 
  53. loaded into the interface builder.
  54.  
  55. The nibIT-UserGuide1.0.rtfd  contains the nibIT documentation.
  56.  
  57. The nibIT-Ordering.rtf contains the price and ordering information for nibIT.
