  2. This submission contains a Quad-FAT demo version 3.81 of SuperDebugger for 
  3. HP PA-RISC workstations, Intel processors, NeXT computers, and SPARC 
  4. workstations.

  6. SuperDebugger is an easy-to-use graphical debugger for NEXTSTEP developers.
  7. It can greatly reduce application development time by providing a more
  8. powerful and easy-to-use debugging environment. It features dynamic display 
  9. of source-level execution, point-and-click setting of breakpoints, savable 
  10. debugging environments, user-definable macros, a variable contents display, 
  11. a dynamic local variables browser, a methods browser, a breakpoints browser, 
  12. and more. It also gives users the ability to easily inspect and trace
  13. dynamic variables.

  15. SuperDebugger is very easy to use, and includes an extensive help facility
  16. with illustrated instructions on how to use each program feature.

  18. New in Version 3.8:

  20. 1. The problem of communicating with the updated version of
  21.    gdb in NEXTSTEP Developer 3.3 has been fixed.
  22.  
  23. 2. The ability to set customized actions for the right mouse click
  24.    using the Preferences panel has been added.
  25.  
  26. 3. A new SuperDB program has been provided to easily open a program
  27.    for debugging from the ProjectBuilder.
  28.  
  29. 4. Modifications were made so that Rich Text Format files with colored
  30.    comments could be edited in the Source window.
  31.  
  32. 5. Help documentation has been updated and improved, with a Power Tips,
  33.    Tutorial, and Troubleshooting sections added.

  37. 1. The license panel has been enhanced so that an order for SuperDebugger
  38.    will be automatically encrypted for safely transmitting over the internet
  39.    using time-variant public key encryption.

  41. 2. The demonstration mode has been extended to run for twenty minutes or
  42.    until twenty thousand characters are received from gdb, whichever
  43.    comes first.
