This is a demo version of my drum machine simulation ``Rhythm King.''
I have tried to find an elegant way to make this demo interesting (but useless) so that you would want to buy the (interesting and useful) normal version. To that end, the ``Save'' menu items are disabled and only files that come with the demo package can be loaded. I hope these restrictions are not too limiting for the demo to be interesting, (nor too lenient for it to be useless).
The following seven sound sample files are included with the demo:
Claps8k.snd Hand-claps
HiHatC8k.snd A closed hi-hat cymbal
HiHatO8k.snd An open hi-hat cymbal
KickDrum8k.snd A relatively dry bass drum
MouthKick8k.snd My verbal imitation of a bass drum
MouthSnare8k.snd Ditto for a snare drum sound
Snare8k.snd A loose snare drum
Note that all these samples are in 8kHz, mulaw form. The originals are 22.05K, linear 16-bit samples and sound much better. Although they come with the program, they take too much room to include in a demo.
Nine Rhythm King pattern files are included. These examples range from specific drum parts for recent pop tunes to generic styles.
Basketball8k.rk NightShift8k.rk
BitOFunk8k.rk OhSherrie8k.rk
ElegantPeople8k.rk SuddenImpact8k.rk
Footloose8k.rk Take58k.rk
Mouth8k.rk
