  11. lipoi (v 1.0) -- Interactive LIPO

  13. WHAT IT DOES:
  14.     Provides an interactive means by which to use lipo to remove one
  15. or more architecture from a specific binary file.  Currently there is no
  16. good way to thin to two archs that I know of (TickleServices apparently
  17. does this, but I couldn't get it to).

  19. BUGS/WARNINGS/NOTES:
  20.     THIS SCRIPT ASSUMES THAT YOUR VERSION OF LIPO CAN CORRECTLY
  21. UNDERSTAND hppa AND sparc ARCHS!!!  The lipo which shipped with NS 3.2
  22. does not do this (I believe).  I am not familiar enough with any of the
  23. other 'lipo'-type binaries to use them with this script.  If you are, feel
  24. free to use this as a starting point.

  26.     This script is ugly.  I do not pretend that it is not.  But it
  27. works for me, and that's what really counts ;-)  All you have to do is
  28. give it the path to any MAB file, and it will prompt you for which archs
  29. to remove.

  31.     As always, make a backup before you use any new modifying tool.
  32. If you remove the wrong arch, the binary will NO LONGER WORK.  Be Careful.

  37. #1)     If you use it, you accept the risk for it.  I cannot/willnot take
  38. personal responsibility for what you do with this script.  Once you have
  39. it, all responsibility goes to you.  The only promise you get is that it
  40. has worked fine for me.
