  1. You may already found that the _compiled_ StartupSound from
  2. StartupSound.tar.Z may not work on your system, this is because
  3. it is compiled under the Kanji OS 2.1J which use a different
  4. shared library.
  5.  
  6. What you need to do is to recompile the whole thing under
  7. your system and it should works.
  8.  
  9. If you don't have the extended NeXTstep, which means that you
  10. cannot compile any NeXTstep program, you may download the
  11. file StartupSound.Z, which is okay to run on any 2.x system.
