  1. Welcome to release 2.0 of ConsoleTool.
  2.  
  3. ConsoleTool is a program to help you monitoring the console log-file.
  4. Most people use the NeXT built-in utility (Console), but it has to
  5. stay on the screen to be effective. This utility will pop-up when
  6. there is any new output and thereby save screen space. It also has the
  7. possibility to make a beep to get your attention.
  8.  
  9. ConsoleTool also includes a filter which lets you filter uninteresting
  10. messages away. This is particularly useful when certain applications
  11. is producing the same messages again and again. (debug messages etc.)
  12.  
  13. Installation:
  14. =============
  15. Just place the application in /LocalApps or ~/Apps, put it on the
  16. dock, and make it auto-launch.
