  1. This utility takes advantage if the facilities available in NeXT.  It has
  2. only been tested on NS-V3.2 & NS-V3.3.

  4. There is an install script here, 'setupPrinter', that will set up your local
  5. system for printing to a remote printer server (this is about as complicated
  6. of a setup you will have).  The setup requirements are all in this one file, 
  7. it should be easier this way to modify for your specific needs.

  9. A significant development over the other version is the implementation of 
  10. smart compression in the PCL code generated (only compresses a line of data
  11. if it reduces the size).
