  1. This is a shareware distribution of HexEditor, the binary file editor for NeXT
  2.  
  3. HexEditor can be used as is.  Simply copy it into either LocalApps or a user's
  4. Apps directory.
  5.  
  6. Bugs include the inability to use the delete key at the end of the file.
  7.  
  8. Shortcomings include the inability to insert data (data can only be overwritten
  9. or appended with typing and pasting), the lack of a search and replace function,
  10. and poor performance with large files.  All these will be addressed in an upcoming commercial release (end of summer).

  12. All registered users are entitled to a free upgrade when it becomes available.
