  1. The following utilities do two things. One untars files the other
  2. uncompresses them. I made them easy and simple because I simply 
  3. wanted to be able to do both of these without having to leave the 
  4. browser for a terminal window. Once installed, you'll simply just
  5. have to double click a .tar or .Z file and the appropiate action
  6. will be taken. Note that the browser will most likely not update
  7. itself after the operation, because I don't know how to make it do
  8. so. If this bothers you, Command-u works wonders.

  10. I hope someone finds this useful, but considering the simplicity
  11. of it, it's freeware. Just make sure to keep my name on it if you
  12. distribute it or add features. Should you add features, I'd appre-
  13. ciate getting a copy of your updates.
