  3. - creates Installer packages from package description files.
  4.  
  5.     Package description files can be displayed and edited
  6.     using PkgBuilder, but they could also be generated by
  7.     substituting a simple script for the install command
  8.     in conventional makefiles.
  9.  
  10.     PkgBuilder uses a shell script in its application
  11.     folder to build a package from the description file,
  12.     i.e., once the description exists, the package can
  13.     easily be built from a makefile as well. The script
  14.     runs synchronously and writes error messages to stderr.
  15.  
  16. - makes putting the contents of a package together quite a drag.
  17.  
  18. - supports most package variations with the exception of chunked
  19.     packages DeleteWarning, FtpSite (remote packages), and
  20.     UseUserMask. Always uses bigtar.
