  2. ImageConverter is a frontend for netpbm & jpeg.

  5. It converts almost all images to anf from NeXT tiffs with 
  6. a simple double-Click and opens them with your default 
  7. image application. 
  8.  
  9. It also provides SERVICES for most image types, 
  10. converting them for WWW-apps (Omni-Image) or just
  11. if you want to drag-&-drop a foreign image into a rtf file.
  12.  
  13. NI stands for NeXT & Intel fat binary.
  14.  
  15. This application is GNU Licenced.

  18. Make sure that you have got 18MB diskspace to expand this app
  19. Installed it will be about 5.5MB

  22. Its main interaction with netpbm/pbmplus goes through the 
  23. anytopnm shellscript.

  25. The sources for this project can not be supplied because the Application
  26. is based on my ReusableObjects library.

  28. This program is HUGE, use the 'striptease' ;) utility on the
  29. ImageConverter.app wrapper to strip the architecture you are
  30. using It will shrink by 50%. 
  31. (use: striptease m68k /path/ImageConverter.app)

  33. But be sure you have got a backup before you try it!
  34. (e.g. delete the downloaded files after you are sure it works)
