  8. For The Beginner

  11.     Beginning users must log off their NeXT computers to install MicroPhone Pro. To do this:
  12.     • Copy MicroPhone Pro to your hard disk. (Refer to the previous instructions.)
  13.     • Log off your NeXT machine.
  14.     • Log in as a root.
  15.     • Double-click MicroPhone.app to install MicroPhone Pro.
  16.     These alerts are displayed (the application will not run):
  17.     MicroPhone installation complete.
  18.     MicroPhone cannot be run as root.
  19.     For security reasons, MicroPhone Pro cannot be run from a root account. 
  20.     • Log off and log back in as yourself. 
  21.     • Double-click MicroPhone.app. 
  22.     You will be prompted to type your unique authorization code that is listed on the registration card     of your User's Guide.
