  1. This is a sampler of the disc "Asi lo quiero" by Franco.
  2. The purpose is to make you want to buy the disc.  The
  3. sound quality is about as good as I can get for the
  4. sound format.  The original samples were 44.1kHz 16bit
  5. stereo recorded on a NeXTStation with Digital ears.
  6. NEXTSTEP software (sndconvert, "Sound Editor" [freeware],
  7. GISO/sox) was used to edit and reduce it to 22.05kHz
  8. mono 8-bit .wav files.  The quality should still be good
  9. enough for you to get a feel for what the disc sounds like.

  11. As a reference, the original samples used  up over 27
  12. Megabytes of disk space.  I trimmed them down and
  13. spliced them together for the final mix.

  15. The file is nearly 95 seconds long.  Here are the tracks
