  1. "quarto" is a filter that takes EPS PostScript files and:
  2.  
  3.     lists pages:   quarto -l file.ps
  4.     reorder pages: quarto -p1,2,6-8 ...      select pages
  5.                    quarto -p odd ...         print odd-numbered pages
  6.                    quarto -r -p odd...         . . .   in reverse order        
  7.     prints n-up:   quarto -2 ... | lpr       2 mini pages per sheet
  8.                                              (N=2,3,4,6,8,9)
  9.     signatures:    quarto -2 -S 8 ...        page order appropriate for 
  10.                                              booklets of 8-sheet signatures
  11.  
  12. Someone had posted an older version to the archives.
  13. This one fixes a bug involving nested PostScript documents,
  14. and includes a basic option for printing books in signatures.
