  1. Hi folks,

  3. this is a quad fat compile of the CERN WWWDaemon_3.0 using WWWLibrary_2.17.
  4. It includes a small patch of mine (that's why I called it 3.0.01) to allow
  5. you to specify a proxy in the configuration file. Normally, you have to do
  6. this via environment variables (really stupid !).
  7.  
  8. The binaries are in Daemon/next.
  9. The putenv patch is in cern_httpd.putenv.patch.
  10. All the other stuff is from the original CERN distribution. I have included,
  11. what I found useful. In server_root/config are some sample config files.

  25. If you want to compile it yourself, just get the Daemon and Library, unpack
  26. them into the same directory, and type make. It compiles without any problems.
  27. If you want, you can apply my patch first. It is in
