  1. This package was posted on the USENET recently and makes
  2. it easy to install Type 1 outline fonts, including ones
  3. which have the DOS ".pfb" extension (which is a compressed
  4. format).  I have included the text of the original post
  5. which describes how to use the package.  A good place
  6. for the installfont and the unfont executables would be
  7. either /usr/local/bin or ~/bin.

  9. Note:  Otto gave me permission to upload these utilities
  10. to the archives for public redistribution.  He asked me to
  11. do so because he had lost the text of his post which
  12. documents the usage of these utilities.
