  1. Here is a version (1.3) of 'e' - the vi front end thing - for NeXTstep!
  2. This might be usefull for vi, vim, nvi or elvis users.

  4.      e is an interface to vi(1) that maintains a history of the
  5.      most recently e'ed files for each directory. Using the his-
  6.      tory, it is both fast and simple to re-edit previously e'ed
  7.      files.

  9.      In addition, e does spelling corrections on its arguments,
  10.      fast lookup and editing of files in other directories, and
  11.      allows for the inheritance of .exrc files in other direc-
  12.      tories. It also closes the modeline security hole, making it
  13.      possible to ensure that no .exrc file that you don't own is
  14.      ever seen by vi.
