  1. This is the latest version of Plot3D. This version now uses Renderman for 3d
  2. display, so you must have version 3.0 to use it. It can be ftp'ed from
  3. sonata.cc.purdue.edu or ion.rice.edu. This is a bug fix version from 2.0.

  5. Changes since 2.0:
  6. Fixed Z scaling bug in symbol mode.
  7. Added axes/plane switches.

  9. Changes since 1.1:
  10. Uses Renderman instead of my 3d routines (this may actually be a bit slower in wireframe mode).
  11. Standard 3.0 help interface.
  12. Viewing angles redefined to be more "standard".
  13. Color works, but only in "shaded" mode (I think).
  14. Hidden surface removal (thanks to renderman).
  15. Since renderman does solid modeling, symbols have been replaced with 3d objects.
  16. Fixed scaling bug for small grid sizes.
  17. Density plot now displays data files much better.
  18. Printing of density plots improved.
