  1. This is the binary distribution of Linktool 2.0 by David Broman of the
  2. Geometry Center.

  4. Linktool is a NeXT application for the manipulation of knots, links,
  5. tangles, and braids.
  6.  
  7. The directory Linktool.app contains the program and the files it
  8. needs.  To install it, just move or copy Linktool.app into your
  9. applications directory (e.g. /LocalApps).  Be sure to keep the
  10. contents in Linktool.app there, and not move them.  Linktool expects
  11. the .nib files and LinktoolHelp to reside in the same directory it's
  12. in.

  14. You can start Linktool by double-clicking on the Linktool.app icon in
  15. the Workspace.

  17. The directory "links" contains a few example files you can load into
  18. Linktool.  This directory can be anywhere on the file system.
