  1.                              EPHEM for NeXT

  3. EPHEM is a non-NeXT program that generates an ephemeris for celestial 
  4. objects such as the Sun, Moon and planets.  Like an Almanac program it
  5. can provide the rise/set times of the Sun & Moon,length of night and
  6. provide the lunar phase.

  8. All the files, including the modified source code, is included.  The 
  9. help building this for NeXT came from Stuart Levy at the Univ of 
  10. Minnesota's Geometry Center.

  12. To run, simply put the executable ephem in a directory in your path and
  13. create two environment variables EPHEMCFG & EPHEMDB that point to the 
  14. files ephem.cfg and ephem.db.  There is a user's manual included.  
  15. Control-D is used to exit the program.
