  1.     KaiSu.pkg_0.7.tar is a Chinese PostScript font package. It's the 
  2. courtesy of Jackson  Technology, Ltd., Taiwan to release this font
  3. under the terms of the General Public  License of the Free Software
  4. Fundation. Taiwan NeXT User Group has taken over the distribution
  5. since the sales manager Tsui of Jackson announced this news in the
  6. user meeting of TwNUG in December 29, 1993. For the past period, 
  7. we have been modifing and packaging the font. However, due to the 
  8. lack of time, we have not been able to fully test either the PS font 
  9. or the install script. If you have any problem  installing the package,
  10. please send e-mail to the following address:

  15.     The KaiSu package contains only a typeface of Big-5 encode 
  16. Chinese PostScript font. In the future, we will put in a Chinese input 
  17. program called CInput with the package and other related utilities. 
  18. For those who are interested in seeing Chinese NeXTSTEP, there is a 
  19. sample file in the same directory you download the font called 
  20. Chinese_sample.rtf.

  23. ### Known Bugs in KaiSu Chinese PostScript Font ###

  25.     Since this Chinese font was and still is being developed without the 
  26. assistence from either Adobe or NeXT, bugs are inevitable. The following
  27. is a list of known bugs.

  29. (1) When Chinese and English characters are appeared on the same lines, the
  30.     cursor of Text object can't move correctly to right position. This bugs
  31.     was due to the lack of coupled English Fonts in this Chinese font set. 
  32.     Jackson is creating the English font and should be ready soon.
