  7.     The images in the composite image palettes located as:
  8.     
  9.         /usr/lib/NextStep/Resources/Shared*.tiff
  10.         
  11.     are automatically grabbed by the shared library NXImage code
  12.     on a look-up by name and inserted into Buttons or other appropriate
  13.     views.
  14.     
  15.         The enclosed SystemBitmaps.nib includes both these
  16.     and the images known to InterfaceBuilder.app by default, hence
  17.     can be used in palettes without inclusion in a palette.  Replacing
  18.     /NextDeveloper/Apps/InterfaceBuilder.app/images.table with the
  19.     one enclosed will cause IB to automatically display all of the
  20.     system images, but not the IB specific ones in EVERY .nib you
  21.     open, ready for drag to the appropriate place.

  23.         NIBs can even be retro-fitted without compile to save space
  24.     in existing apps, so long as you have an appropriate copy of IB.

  27.         The SystemBitmaps.nib is really only especially useful to
  28.     find the names of system bitmaps, because the images are layed
  29.     out in matrixes of buttons.  The ButtonCell Inspector for each button
  30.     will show the image name, and a related hilighted name (if any).

  32.         Running test interface on the .nib will allow you to press
  33.     the buttons, of course, to see the toggle action between images.
  34.     
  35.         This is all already on your system, except the .nib and expanded
  36.     images.table (though since you are reading the .rtf file, you likely
  37.     already have the .nib and .table, too.
